A’ja Wilson’s Latest Nike A’Two PE Is Inspired by Danny Phantom

A’ja Wilson is digging back into another childhood favorite for her latest Nike A’Two player exclusive, this time turning to Nickelodeon’s Danny Phantom for inspiration.

The animated series debuted in the mid-2000s and followed Danny Fenton, a teenager who could move between the human world and the Ghost Zone. That supernatural theme carries over nicely to Wilson’s newest PE, which continues a growing collection of sneakers inspired by shows, games, and brands she grew up with.

Previous Nike A’Two exclusives for Wilson have referenced Girl Scouts, UNO, Hot Wheels, Mulan, and even Susie Carmichael from Rugrats.

For the “Danny Phantom” pair, Nike covers the upper mostly in black before adding bright teal accents tied to the Ghost Zone. More themed graphics appear around the tongue branding and inside the Swoosh, giving the shoe a little more character without taking over the entire design. The black and teal setup also works naturally with the Las Vegas Aces’ darker uniforms.

Like the rest of Wilson’s special player exclusives, the Nike A’Two “Danny Phantom” PE is not expected to receive a public release. For now, the colorway appears to be made exclusively for A’ja Wilson.
