Brittney Griner gave the Nike A’Two “Hot Wheels” its first on-court look, but the colorway is now tied directly to A’ja Wilson. Wilson recently unveiled the sneaker herself, putting an end to the early belief that it was made solely as a Phoenix Mercury Player Exclusive.
Yellow flames sweep across the upper with blue tips worked into the graphic, pulling the design from the familiar look of Hot Wheels toy cars. The pattern runs toward a black heel, while Wilson’s signature branding on the tongues carries the same flame treatment.
The theme could signal a more personal direction for Wilson’s second signature shoe. Nike appears to be drawing from the childhood toys and games that influenced her, giving the A’Two a storytelling angle beyond standard team colors and performance-focused releases.
Nike has not confirmed whether the Nike A’Two “Hot Wheels” will be sold to the public or remain limited to Wilson and Griner. No release date, price, or retail availability has been announced.
