Nike is giving the Astro Grabber an NFL makeover for 2026, with five teams already confirmed through official images. The San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, and Dallas Cowboys are all part of the first group, with each shoe taking its own approach instead of following one set formula.

The Astro Grabber goes back to the 1970s, when Bill Bowerman designed the shoe for use on the synthetic turf fields that were starting to show up around football. That history works especially well here now that Nike has brought the old turf model back as a lifestyle sneaker.

Materials change depending on the team. San Francisco and Dallas get shiny leather uppers that play off the metallic colors in their uniforms, while the Rams and Chiefs versions use nylon. The Eagles pair stands apart in white leather with a green chenille Swoosh, giving it a different texture from the other four.

Every pair also comes with a team pennant placed over the tongue. Matching pennant accessories are included with the shoes, adding another NFL detail without covering the entire sneaker in team branding.

This collection comes after the Air Max 90 “NFL Rivalries” pack released earlier in 2026. None of these five teams were included in that group, so Nike has now covered a different set of franchises with the Astro Grabber.

The Nike Astro Grabber NFL Pack is expected to release during October 2026 for $140 per pair.
