Fewer than 10 pairs of the original Nike Air Zoom Generation “Gloria James” were reportedly made. Nike gave LeBron James’ first signature shoe a White, Metallic Silver and Real Pink colorway for his mother, and the pair never made it to stores.
Gloria raised LeBron in Akron as a single mother, and he’s often spoken about how she supported him as he pursued basketball. The tribute now spans several generations of his footwear. For spring 2027, Nike also has “Gloria James” editions of the LeBron 24 and LeBron Witness 10 in the works.
The Nike Air Zoom Generation “Gloria James” is expected to get its first retail release on February 5, 2027, two days before Gloria’s birthday. Retail is set at $190.
