Nike Reveals New Women’s Air Max Model

Joining a storied women’s Nike Air Max lineup, including Nike Air Max Dia and Nike Air Max Verona, Nike Air Max Up is made with a new ramp Air unit (non-pressurized air that allows for a different design and can take on additional shapes).

The newest Max Air unit is combined with soft Cushlon in the forefoot, providing a responsive and lightweight solution tailor-made to a women’s footprint and is maximized for all-day comfort. Positioned in a jewelry-like setting, the Air Max unit brings a new, feminine look to sneaker culture.

“This silhouette, and specifically the colors, are inspired by bold women who have thought outside of the bubble, stepping out of their comfort zones to pave the way of future female generations,” says Nike Color Designer Arielle Ebenholtz. “With Air Max never being tuned in Nike Sportswear specifically for women from the ground up prior to this, women are really wearing history when they put on the Nike Air Max Up.”
