The Nike Air Max Plus “Oil Slick” is lined up for Summer 2026, using an iridescent finish to give the Tuned Air runner a noticeably different look.

A black mesh underlay holds down the top section while the molded cage transitions through green, blue, purple, bronze, and gold. Nike also gave the seams dripping effects across the overlays, distorting Sean McDowell’ recognizable flame-driven lines.

Glossy black patent leather wraps the toe and mudguard, with more black covering the laces, tongue, lining, and midsole. The darker setup puts most of the attention on the color-changing cage. Visible Air units remain below, and small yellow sections on the outsole add another detail underfoot without competing with the upper.

The Nike Air Max Plus “Oil Slick” will release in Summer 2026 at Nike.com and select Nike Sportswear retailers. The retail price is set at $200.
