Nike continues to deliver New York City inspired releases for the Air Force 1 Low. This upcoming “Black Rat” colorway is said to drop this fall and utilizes dark hues, fuzzy accents, and some NYC related nods.

Dark gray textured leather makes up the majority of the upper while brown faux fur is used on the Swoosh, collar, and heel tab. Fur even makes its way onto the laces to give the shoe a fuzzier and more rugged appearance.

The city inspiration continues on the tongue with bold “NYC” branding. Hidden in the fur of the heel is a red eye graphic as another subtle detail relating back to rats.

Brownish “AIR” branding is found down the midsole and a muted reddish-pink translucent outsole can be found beneath. Metallic lace dubrae are the final detail on the shoe.

The “Black Rat” will be one of two colorways in a rat-themed AF1 pack that will also include the “MTA MetroCard” variant.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black Rat” is slated for a Fall 2026 drop on Nike.com and at select Nike Sportswear retailers.
