Nike Sportswear appears to be honoring the pirate radio scene, that has been popular and enduring radio medium since the 1960s in the United Kingdom, with a special edition Air Max 90.

This offering of the Nike Air Max 90 comes dressed in the colors of the Union Jack national flag mixing Royal Blue, Silver, and Red tones. Some of the key features includes embroidered Swoosh logos, leather overlays and radio waves found on the heel replacing the classic Nike Air branding. Finishing touches includes the famous skull broadcasting logo printed beneath its translucent outsole to complete the design.
