Before the 30th Anniversary of the Air Max 90 comes to an end, Nike still has some unique designs scheduled to launch during the holiday season. One of those includes this brand new deconstructed rendition of the popular silhouette.
Dressed in a White, Black, and Bright Crimson color scheme, resembling the sketch of the OG infrared. This Nike Air Max 90 comes crafted in raw materials with rough cut edges, exposed foam liners, and translucent sheath around the midfoot and heel. Other details includes mesh toes and Swooshes, neoprene ankle collars with suede overlays. Finishing off the design are sharpie-like Crimson Air cassettes and outsole.

In 1990, the Air Max line took a fateful leap forward with the debut of a silhouette that quickly transcended its purpose of performance running. Younger audiences may know this look as the “Air Max 90”—but upon its debut, the design was seen as the latest evolution of the original Air Max from 1987, and given a fitting name: Air Max 3.
This edition celebrates the timeless style by returning to that original moniker while recreating its earliest execution with unmatched dedication to detail. That includes original tooling, with tapered midsole foam and an encapsulated airbag in the forefoot. This colorway extends the nostalgia by nodding to the exploration and prototyping process that led to the icon’s creation.
