Nike Air Griffey 2 Cleat Returns For MLB All-Star 2023

The Nike Air Griffey Max 2 was the second signature shoe for Ken Griffey Jr. that released in 1997 and was designed by Tracy Teague. Following a few retro releases over the years, the Griffey 2s will be returning in cleated form to coincide with the 2023 MLB All-Star Game at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park.

Dressed in a Light Bone, White, Hemp, and Clear Jade color scheme. This offering of the Nike Air Griffey 2 Cleat features a Light Bone leather upper with its signature side-wall ridges and carbon fiber plate for added stability. Other details includes a Silver-decorated Swoosh on the toe, graphic insoles, and Griffey’s Swingman logo on the heels. Its full-length Max Air cushioning has been replaced with metal studs for traction on the field.

Check out the official photos below, and look for the Nike Air Griffey 2 Cleat “All-Star” to release on July 10th at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $150 USD.
