Another plaid Air Force 1 Low is joining Nike’s Fall/Winter 2026 lineup, but this one takes the pattern in a darker direction. Dressed in Black, Tough Red, and White, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Red Plaid” uses a mostly black leather upper with tartan-style fabric worked into the sides and heel.

Smooth black leather covers much of the shoe, including the perforated toe box, mudguard, eyestays, Swooshes, and rear panels. The Tough Red plaid sits underneath the Swoosh across the quarter panels, mixing red and black with thin white and yellow lines. More of the same material wraps the heel tabs, where black Nike Air embroidery blends into the pattern.

Black continues across the laces, lining, AF1 lace dubraes, midsole, and outsole, keeping nearly everything outside the plaid sections tonal. Red Nike Air branding stands out on the black tongue labels, while red insoles feature black Nike Air logos.

This isn’t the only plaid Air Force 1 to surface in 2026. A yellow “Clueless” Air Force 1 Low also uses the familiar pattern, giving the two releases a similar idea with very different color palettes. The Red Plaid version sticks closer to black throughout, leaving the Tough Red fabric as its main source of color.
