The Melody Ehsani x Reebok Question Mid is another exclusive Reebok Question release that continues the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the silhouette.
Inspired by the women in Allen Iverson’s life. The Los Angeles-based designer unveils her campaign by using Iverson’s daughters Tiaura, Messiah and Dream, and their mother Tawanna to support this women’s version of the iconic Reebok Question.
“Aside from being one of the greatest players, Iverson to me more so was a cultural leader and game changer, so I made sure to embody some of those elements into the shoe,” says designer Melody Eshani.
The Reebok Question x Melody Ehsan features a tonal Vegetable Tan upper that’s constructed in three types of leather. An embossed “Hold My Own” as a nod to Iverson’s tattoo hits the tongue, with paisley print insoles, an image of his cornrows lines the inside finished with interchangeable velco patches to feature three of his other tattoos. A Black patent toe box and icy soles competes the look.
Look for the Melody Ehsani x Reebok Question Mid to release on December 2nd at Melody Ehsani’s LA store, as well as at MelodyEhsani.com, Reebok.com and other retailers like Rise. The retail price tag is set at $160 USD.
