The split toe is still there, but much of the familiar Air Rift has changed on the Melitta Baumeister x Nike Rift Rocker. A thick, curved sole sits underneath an upper that trades the usual open forefoot for a tongue and laces. Unveiled in New York during the “Molded by Dedication” showcase, the design follows Baumeister’s distressed Vomero Premium and Pegasus Plus collaboration.

Some of the original Rift’s layered construction carries over, along with straps across the upper. Raised, stitched Swooshes sit near the forefoot, while Melitta Baumeister branding runs along the main strap end. The two colorways offer distressed black leather and Yukon Brown finishes.

The oversized rocker sole changes the shoe’s shape considerably, with deep Swoosh impressions along the outer side and scooped-out sections around the heel and inner side. A detail at the back echoes the upper’s strap ends, while waffle-inspired traction covers the outsole.

Baumeister’s eye graphic appears on the heel and insoles, joining a footprint illustration with “Think Outside” text. Inside the tongue, “You Bring The Body, We Bring The Shape” appears beside a banana graphic containing a Swoosh. That banana detail also connects to accessories from the designer’s own line.

The Melitta Baumeister x Nike Rift Rocker is scheduled to release in women’s sizing during Holiday 2026, launching first through Melitta Baumeister’s website before reaching Nike SNKRS and additional retailers.
