That pyramid stage from Daft Punk’s Alive 2007 tour is getting a LEGO version, thanks to a fan who submitted the build through LEGO Ideas. LEGO has approved the project for development, with the set becoming part of its newly announced Daft Punk partnership.
Patrick Harboun and his son, based in Luxembourg, built the concert model together. Their design won the 2020 LEGO Ideas Music to Our Ears challenge before picking up 10,000 supporters on the platform. The version shown here is their original build, so it shouldn’t be taken as a preview of the finished retail set.
A teaser released for the announcement puts both helmeted members in minifigure form, following a glowing red LEGO brick through a landscape that builds around them. The clip pairs “Voyager,” from the 2001 album Discovery, with “Human After All.”
The partnership also includes other products, content, and experiences, although details on those projects remain under wraps. The concert set is the first confirmed build attached to the announcement.
More from the LEGO Daft Punk partnership is coming in 2027. A release date for the Alive 2007 set has yet to be announced.
