Ronnie Fieg has been previewing a new Salomon model on Instagram over the past few weeks, and the shoe has now been revealed as the XT-EVO. Kith will introduce the silhouette through its &Kin Fall 2026 collection in two collaborative colorways.

The XT-EVO uses the same sole unit found on the Salomon XT-6, while everything above it takes a different direction. Heavy TPU reinforcement covers much of the upper, including a large molded shell that wraps around the lower half of the shoe. Sharp panel lines and diamond-shaped details break up the protective build, giving the model a more technical look without moving too far away from Salomon’s trail-running roots.

Salomon’s familiar pull-lacing system returns, though the tongue and laces sit slightly toward the inside of the foot. Kith will debut the XT-EVO in two colorways, with one mixing black, yellow, red and blue, while the other keeps things darker in grey and purple.

This is not the first time Kith has helped launch a new Salomon silhouette. The two brands introduced the XT-Voyager in late 2024, followed by another version earlier this year. That model has stayed closely connected to Kith, and the XT-EVO could take a similar route before any possible wider rollout.

Both Kith x Salomon XT-EVO colorways will release August 7, 2026, through the Kith app, Kith.com and Kith stores as part of the &Kin Fall 2026 collection.
