Jordan MVP Surfaces With Earthy Hues

Published on

Jordan Brand’s newest hybrid model, the Jordan MVP (678), takes elements from the Air Jordan 6, 7, and 8, all of which were designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, as well as celebrating the shoes that Michael Jordan wore during his first three-peat from 1991-1993 in victories over the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers and the Phoenix Suns.

As a follow up to a series of OG-inspired designs, this offering of the Jordan MVP surfaces in a mix of Team Gold, Shadow Brown, Iron Kelp, and Sail color tones. It comes constructed with soft suedes and mesh materials. Other notable details nodding back to the three Air Jordans are the tongues, TPU paint strokes, midsole, and icy translucent outsole. Jumpman embroidery on the lateral ankle with “Nike Air” heel branding. A Black and milky translucent outsole completes the design.

Check out the photos below, and look for the Jordan MVP “Team Gold” to release on June 20th at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $165 USD.

In related news, Jordan Brand is set to release an upcoming Air Jordan 1 KO Low “Shadow” colorway during Summer 2023.
