Jordan Brand has officially unveiled Jayson Tatum’s first signature shoe, the Jordan Tatum 1, which is the lightest performance shoe in Jordan Brand’s performance line this season.

The shoe features a lightweight, reinforced TPU frame that allows excess material to be stripped away. An uncaged Zoom Air unit in the forefoot helps provide energy return without sacrificing court feel. The Tatum 1 kids’ design features a collapsible heel system for easy on-off entry.

“I want people to feel like they can connect to me,” says Tatum. “I remember being a kid, walking into the store, and looking for the signature shoes of my favorite players. The moment I saw the shoe or put the shoe on, I felt like I was in sync and closer to them in a way. So, I want this shoe to be a bridge between my fans and me to bring us closer together.”

Four colorways were revealed, the “Zoo” Tatum 1 is inspired by Tatum’s favorite place to take his son, Deuce. Different animal patterns cover the upper. The “St. Louis” Tatum 1 features the retro colors of Tatum’s hometown baseball team. The “Pink Lemonade” Tatum 1 is all about one of Tatum’s favorite drinks, and the “Barbershop” Tatum 1, only available in adult sizing, is inspired by the confidence Tatum feels whenever he gets a haircut.

Jordan Tatum 1 Release Date

Look for the Jordan Tatum 1 styles to begin releasing on April 7th with the “Zoo” colorway in adult and kids sizing at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $120 USD.
