INVINCIBLE and MADNESS are coming together on the ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1, adding another collaboration to the runner’s growing lineup. The three-way project is also INVINCIBLE’s second time working with ASICS, with fellow Hong Kong label MADNESS joining this release.

Cream tones cover most of the shoe, keeping the color palette fairly simple while the construction does more of the work. The design takes cues from urban running, the outdoors, and dolomite rock, with those ideas showing up through the different textures across the upper.

Ten materials are used throughout the GEL-Kayano 12.1, giving its layered build plenty of variation without adding much color. MADNESS brings some of its workwear background into the project as well, fitting naturally with the more functional side of the Kayano design.

The INVINCIBLE x MADNESS x ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1 release begins with an online raffle from August 18th through August 20th. INVINCIBLE stores in Asia will have pairs on August 23rd, followed by the global release on August 29th through ASICS and participating retailers.
