Kobe’s love for soccer never really left his story, and Barcelona is part of that. The latest project puts that connection on the Nike Dunk Low Protro, following the club’s Kobe 4 and matching kit from 2025.

He spent part of his childhood in Italy, where soccer was everywhere, and that stuck with him. Years later, you could still see that influence in shoes like the “Mambacurial” Kobe 8. His ties to Lionel Messi, Barcelona, and AC Milan only made that side of his story more visible over time.

Most of the shoe is black, with smooth leather through the base and shiny patent leather wrapping the toe, eyelets, and heel. Purple shows up on the Swoosh, heel strip, and translucent outsole, while small gold hits keep it from looking too dark.

The details are split between Kobe and Barça. One tongue carries Kobe’s Sheath logo and the other has the FC Barcelona crest, both done in gold. His signature is stitched across the back of each shoe, and more Sheath logos appear on the insoles. Nothing feels overdone, which fits the mostly black setup pretty well.

A Kobe 3 Low is also part of the collection, so this won’t be the only shoe coming from the latest Barcelona project.
