DOAF x Nike Total 90 “Beautiful Game” Limited To 300 Pairs

Division Street’s Ducks of a Feather is teaming up with GOAT on a limited Nike Total 90 release that looks beyond one country, one team, or one tournament host. Called the “Beautiful Game,” the project uses football’s worldwide following as the story, with the shoe reflecting the mix of cultures that come together around the sport.

The upper is built from a multicolor woven material arranged in a tightly packed checkerboard pattern. Red, blue, green, orange, white, and navy run across the toe and side panels, while black suede settles the design around the eyestay, Swoosh, collar, and heel. Since the patterned textile is cut differently during production, the placement will vary from pair to pair.

That woven construction gives the Total 90 a much different look from the glossy, streamlined versions that helped define Nike Football during the early 2000s. The shape remains familiar, but the material choice makes the shoe feel closer to a one-off textile project than a standard retro colorway.

Several smaller details build out the football theme. Reflective elements are worked into the design, while glow-in-the-dark rubber wraps the toe and covers sections of the outsole. Gold-tipped laces, custom tongue branding, and embroidered tournament-year references add more depth without competing with the upper.

DOAF branding appears near the heel, and the campaign places the sneaker alongside a wider mix of football and fashion styling. That presentation fits the idea behind the project: the game is shared globally, but the way people dress around it can look completely different from one place to the next.

The DOAF x Nike Total 90 “Beautiful Game” will be limited to 300 pairs worldwide and releases exclusively through GOAT on July 14. Proceeds will support participating University of Oregon student-athletes through Division Street’s Ducks of a Feather program.
