Christmas is about celebrating past traditions, or creating new ones. Connor Gorman, aka Connor TV, and his dad, Brian, created one last year with their sneaker Christmas tree. It is their hope that this new tradition spreads throughout the sneaker community in the name of Christmas fun.

Recently, Connor has asked everyone, via his YouTube channel and social media, not only to participate, but to also donate towards a charity, or, at the very least, shout out a charity that people can donate to. Connor says that this is his way of making a difference. I’m 2016, a variety of charities were donated to due to Connor’s sneaker Christmas tree challenge. So it is his and his father’s goal to build upon what they were able to achieve last year.

How do you build a sneaker Christmas tree? You just stack a bunch of sneaker boxes that you have in your collection, and then decorate it with sneakers and Christmas lights. You can watch Connor show you how by going to his YouTube channel here:

And if charity isn’t incentive enough, Adidas Originals has decided to get involved and has donated 20 pairs as prizes to be given out to lucky participants. To get involved, post a picture of your sneaker Christmas tree on social media, tag Connor TV, donate to or shout out a charity, and use the hashtag #ShoeTreeChallenge.
