LeBron James has decided to go back home and play for the Cleveland Cavaliers for the reminder of his career. Before returning home, LeBron James spent four years with the Miami Heat and to celebrate his arrival in 2010, Nike Basketball designed a special pre-heat colorway formally known as “South Beach.”
The first silhouette to receive the Teal and Pink treatment was the Nike LeBron 8 back in 2010. Following the release came the Nike LeBron 9 Elite “South Beach” and LeBron 9 GS “South Beach” colorways – both inspired by the television show Miami Vice. His last promising Nike LeBron “South Beach” colorway came this year 2014, with the release of the Nike LeBron 11.
So its been a fun four years adding the “South Beach” Nike LeBron releases to our collection, but for now it looks like the trend is finally over. So now that we probably won’t be seeing a “South Beach” release anytime soon, other then a possible retro release of the Nike LeBron 8 “South Beach” on a Black Friday. With that being said, check out the list below and let us know which pair has been your favorite release-to-date.
