The Bodega x PUMA Suede is a classic sneaker with a DIY upgrade. Encased in forest green suede with natural brown rubber, the sneakers stay in a relatively neutral color palette but dial up the details.

A cord and loop system replace the traditional Formstrip and allow the wearer to lace up the shoe any way they choose. Some configurations resemble the Formstrip, while others are more freeform, playing with the idea of just how playful this feature can be.

Elsewhere, Bodega incorporates details like a cross-stitched tongue tab, stitched eyelets, a natural cork footbed with the Bodega stamp, a soft yellow lining, gold foil branding, and glossy black eyelets.

The clean design is understated from a distance but detailed and personalized in close-up.

The Bodega x PUMA Suede will release August 9th at Bodega.com and at a select group of retailers worldwide.
