Coming together with atmos and ASICS, Albino & Preto is bringing its jiu-jitsu background to the GEL-KAYANO 12.1. The project comes in two colorways, one white and one black, with both tied together by the same neon green detailing.

The white pair uses a mesh base with silver-toned overlays and green hits running across the laces, branding, side panels, heel, and midsole. The black version follows the same general setup, but the darker upper makes those green accents pop a lot more. Both pairs also feature Albino & Preto branding on the tongue.

The martial arts influence is pretty easy to read here without being overdone. Albino & Preto has built its name around jiu-jitsu-inspired apparel for years, and that background carries over naturally to the footwear. The campaign also leans into the training theme, bringing A&P, atmos, and ASICS together in a gym-style setting.

Underneath, the GEL-KAYANO 12.1 keeps the layered look of the original GEL-KAYANO 12 while using GEL-NIMBUS 17 tooling. That gives the shoe the early-2000s runner look people expect from the model, but with a more modern setup underfoot.

The Albino & Preto x atmos x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 12.1 collection releases August 28, 2026 through Albino & Preto and atmos, both in-store and online. Both the black and white colorways will be available in unisex sizing for approximately $175 each.
