The coveted Air Jordan 6 “Carmine” is a grail to many sneakerheads. From the OG to the CDP pair, people went crazy for a pair of their own. After releasing this weekend, we all had our own chance to cop the classic colorway. Many thought that copping early was the only chance they’ll have at owning the sneaker.. but was it really? After Jordan Brand dropped a large quantity of pairs, it seems like the pre-release price may not seem reasonable anymore. Let’s take a look at what some patience could have saved you.

We took a look at 2 weeks before the official release of the Air Jordan 6 “Carmine.”

Gathered eBay and Kixify listings/sales show us that in only 14 days before the release, this coveted sneaker brought in a whopping $1,054,317 in sales.

This successful number was made because of a high sell-through rate of 60.49% on a total of 3,855 listings which is approximately 2,332 successful listings which is a huge number considering the sneaker didn’t come out until a few days later.
