A retro of an OG 1990 colorway, the Air Jordan 5 “Fire Red” (Black Tongue) made its latest retro return back in August 2013 for $160 USD. The shoe itself was designed by Tinker Hatfield and drew inspiration from the P-51 Mustang fighter jet, which was used by Allied forces in World War II.
Dressed in a White, Fire Red, and Black color scheme. This offering of the Air Jordan 5 features a White leather upper with Black tongues, Fire Red contrasting accents while both colors come together on the embroidered number “23” at the lateral ankle. A Red midsole with Black shark teeth atop a translucent outsole completes the design.
