Back in 2018, Jordan Brand celebrated Will Smith’s 50th birthday with a special version of the “Grape” Air Jordan 5. Inspired by his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air character wearing laceless Jordan 5s, the 2018 release came without laces. Now for 2023, to celebrate Season 2 of the rebooted Bel-Air on Peacock, Jordan Brand teamed up with Peacock to release three pairs of the laceless Air Jordan 5 OG “Black Metallic” nodding back to the original series.

This offering of the Air Jordan 5 is a direct nod to the original release featuring a Black nubuck upper with Metallic Silver speckled shark teeth on the midsole and Red Jumpman logos on the reflective tongues. The shoes will also come equipped without laces completed with “Nike Air” embroidery at the heel atop an icy translucent outsole.

Only three pairs of the Air Jordan 5 “Bel-Air” were designed to kick off season 2 of Bel-Air, which is now streaming on Peacock. One of them in a men’s size 12 will be raffled on Thursday, March 2nd via NTWRK for an entry price of $1. The event will start at 9 to 11PM ET.
