Air Jordan 17 Low Returning Spring 2024

Published on

Back in February 2002, when Michael Jordan was playing for the Washington Wizards, Jordan Brand debuted the most expensive Air Jordan to date during that era, the Air Jordan 17. Designed by Wilson Smith III, the shoe was inspired by jazz music and came equipped with the band’s first-ever Tuned Air cushioning system. There was also a low-top version that debuted in three original colorways (shown below).

According to zsneakerheadz, the Air Jordan 17 Low will be returning during Spring 2024. The shoe was last seen back in February 2018 with the debut of the SoleFly x Air Jordan 17 Low collaboration. While the colorways are currently unknown, it’s likely one of the originals will return as well as a few new color options.

The shoe itself features a low-cut design constructed with a leather upper, a Dynamic Fit inner sleeve for a more supportive fit and signature chrome strip around the heel. It also comes equipped with an integrated lace-up closure for lockdown, full-length shank plate, and a TPU heel stabilizer for support. A lightweight phylon midsole with herringbone traction underfoot completes the design.

Grab a look at a few original colorways below, and expect the Air Jordan 17 Low to officially make its retro release during Spring 2024 at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag has yet to be announced.
