Originally released from 1998-99, the Air Jordan 14 was debuted after Michael Jordan retired from the NBA for a second time. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith, while the inspiration came from MJ’s favorite Ferrari.
In 2014, Jordan Brand dropped the Air Jordan 14 “Ferrari” as a direct nod to the Italian sports car brand that MJ loves. It features a Red suede and faux carbon fiber midsole offering a luxurious and sporty aesthetic.
Most recently in 2020, the Air Jordan 14 “Gym Red” was debuted that comes in a color blocking inspired by the classic Chicago Bulls team colors. It features a Red suede upper with Black accents and an Off-White shade covering the midsole.
