While the Air Jordan 11 “Win Like ’96” doesn’t officially drop until December 9th. On Sunday, Jordan Brand sold pairs early via Nike SNKRS app.

As a nod to Michael Jordan’s four playoff opponents during 1996 – Seattle, Miami, Orlando, and New York, Jordan Brand dressed Santa Claus up wearing the Red Air Jordan 11s at malls in those cities to help distribute the shoes.

Santa Claus not only wore the upcoming Air Jordan 11, but he also sat in front of a giant Air Jordan 11 box. During the event, there were cards that featured an image to unlock the shoes via the SNKRS app’s camera. But thankfully, you didn’t have to be present to participate, as anyone with access to the image could unlock the shoes and cop early.

The last time Nike did this was with the “Black Pigeon” Nike SB Dunk Low by Staple. Check out a few of the photos of Santa rocking the Red Air Jordan 11s below.
