To kick off the holiday season, Jordan Brand will be releasing the Air Jordan 11 UNC that pays homage to Michael Jordan’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina. This isn’t the only Air Jordan 11 set to release, as there will also be a “Chicago” pair in Gym Red available early December. Jordan Brand will be paying tribute to MJ’s college and professional career with the debut of the “UNC” and “Chicago” releases during the holiday season.

Dressed in a UNC-inspired color scheme with a mix of White, Midnight Navy and University Blue. This Air Jordan 11 features a White mesh upper with University Blue Jumpman branding and Midnight Navy appearing on the lining, heel, and patent leather mudguard.

Some other minor details to this Air Jordan 11 release includes a more traditional look of the Jumpman branding where the ball is facing the “23” PE on the heels unlike last year’s Space Jam 11 Retro. It also appears that Jordan Brand will be moving forward with its updated patent leather mudguard shape that’s a bit higher to look more authentic to the original pairs designed by Tinker Hatfield.

Air Jordan 11 UNC Release Date

Look for the Air Jordan 11 “UNC” to release on November 11th, 2017 at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. The retail price tag is set at $220 USD.
