With Jordan Brand set to release a third rendition of the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” this Fall 2019, we take a look back at both other versions.

Originally debuted in 2015, this release of the Air Jordan 1 was inspired by an exhibition game Michael participated in back in 1985 in Trieste, Italy where he broke the glass backboard after a dunk.
A year later, Jordan Brand would go on to debut a “Reverse Shattered Backboard” version that featured more Orange and less Black.
