Crafted by imaginative students, this unique Air Jordan 1 Mid Wings edition celebrates NYC’s vibrant subway system. Designed to reflect urban life’s energy and motion, it features subway map-inspired tongue labels. The “AIR” text creatively mirrors subway line symbols, forming “WINGS” on the heel. Additionally, playful reminders not to lean on doors adorn the lateral collars, complemented by reflective accents.

The sneakers’ design intricacies extend further with detailed subway map insoles and heartfelt messages to MTA workers on inner tongue tags. A vibrant Jumpman hangtag mimics subway map lines, adding to the experience. Special packaging adorned with Jordan Wings branding and subway motifs completes the presentation.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid Wings “NYC Subway” releases on May 15, 2024 at select retailers and Nike.com. Available in kid’s sizing, prices range from $65 to $120.
