The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Palomino” is set to release in Summer 2026, bringing a familiar brown-and-black look back onto the Mid cut. The shoe arrives in a Black, Palomino, University Red, and Phantom color scheme, with a $130 retail price attached.

Black covers much of the upper, giving the shoe a darker base before Palomino hits bring in the rich brown contrast. University Red appears through the branding, adding a small break from the earth-toned setup, while Phantom details help soften the overall palette.

Jordan Brand’s “Palomino” look first gained wider attention on the Air Jordan 1 High OG released in September 2023. That pair followed the same lane as other brown-heavy Jordan 1 releases, including the “Mocha” from 2020, both of which benefited from the wave of Travis Scott-influenced color trends around the model.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid has not had the same pull lately as it did during stronger years for the silhouette. Still, Jordan Brand has a long history of moving popular Air Jordan 1 High color stories onto Mid and Low versions, giving casual buyers a more accessible way into familiar looks.
