Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Día de Muertos” Limited to 5,026 Pairs

Jordan Brand is bringing the Air Jordan 1 Low OG into its Día de Muertos lineup for 2026. The upcoming release uses different shades of brown across the upper, with teal accents and a mix of suede and leather. Official photos appeared on SNKRS Mexico, including images of the shoes alongside a Xoloitzcuintli, a Mexican dog breed associated with the holiday.

The upper features shaggy suede around the heel and eyestays, along with textured leather overlays. A woven Swoosh replaces the usual leather branding on the sides, while a smaller Swoosh sits near the toe. There’s also debossed detailing on the side panels and teal coloring along the trim and midsole.

Each pair is individually numbered out of 5,036 on a tag inside the tongue. The special box has a weathered concrete print with Día de Muertos branding and a large Wings logo.

The release follows last year’s Air Jordan 4 “Somos Eternos,” another design from Jordan Brand’s Día de Muertos collection. The brand has also celebrated Mexican Independence Day with the Air Jordan 5 “El Grito” and Air Jordan 3 “El Vuelo.”

The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Somos Historias” is set to release October 13, 2026, in Mexico for MX$3,800 (around $200 USD). For now, it’s unclear if the shoes will be available outside of Mexico.
