Made famous in 1985 by Michael Jordan, the Air Jordan 1 is perhaps the most iconic sneaker of all-time.
The Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” colorway is arguably the most famous colorway of MJ’s first signature shoe that’s a cornerstone to any sneaker collection. It comes dressed in the popular Chicago Bulls team colors constructed in a full-grain leather build.
Overshadowed by other original colorways like “Bred”, “Chicago” and “Royal”, the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe” is no less important when it comes to history of the legendary shoe. Michael Jordan wore the shoe during his rookie season that came dressed in a similar color blocking to the “Chicago” colorway, but takes away some of the Red from the upper in favor of Black on the eyestay and toe panels.
