adidas Running has officially unveiled the Ultra Boost 2019, an entirely reimagined and redesigned version of the brand’s iconic leading performance running shoe.

Unlike the original adidas Ultra Boost, the Ultra Boost 19 is reconstructed from 17 pieces to focus on four key components – Optimized BOOST, Torsion Spring, Primeknit 360 and 3D Heel Frame.

Optimized Boost comes with 20% more Boost in the midsole compared to the first-generation Ultra Boost, this updated technology brings even more energy return. Torsion Spring is a lightweight construction for enhanced support on landing and a snappy transition to propel runners forward. The Primeknit 360 feels like a second skin, combining pure comfort with lightweight performance. Lastly the updated 3D heel frame – a stripped-back design cradles the heel, bringing the perfect mix of adaptability and support.

adidas Ultra Boost 2019 Release Date

Look for the Ultra Boost 2019 “Active Red” to release on December 15th at select adidas Originals retailers and adidas.com. The retail price tag is set at $180 USD.
