To celebrate the largest tennis tournament in New York City, adidas Originals has created a limited edition US Open footwear pack. The wildly popular adidas ZX Flux and the iconic tennis silhouette adidas Stan Smith, echo sport by looking to adidas tennis athletes for inspiration.
During the US Open, adidas athletes will wear adizero apparel which is created through a unique hand printed, dyeing process making each piece one-of-a-kind. Using these same printing techniques, the ZX Flux is available in black and red colorways, bringing the concept off court and on to the street—making each shoe different and unique. The Stan Smith takes both color and material cues from the tennis world and adizero product. The insole is cut from orange felt with white lines mirroring the felt and design of tennis balls while the heel and tongue details match the adizero red colorway.
Launching August 28th, the US Open adidas ZX Flux and adidas Stan Smith are available in limited quantities exclusive to the US at adidas Originals retail stores and select partners. The retail price tag is set at $100 USD.
