adidas Originals introduces their “Never Made” Collection, a revolutionary footwear concept inspired by the past, designed for the future. Past icons from the adidas archive are reimagined, as their soles are swapped with the brand’s most innovative tooling.
Featuring eight distinct silhouettes: the Marathon x 5923, Country x Kamanda, I x 4D, Boston Super x R1, Rising Star x R1, Micropacer x R1, 98 x Crazy BYW, and ZX 930 x EQT.
Each pair are broken up into series title, “Line of Descent” that features modern midsoles with Boost and the wavy Kamanda, “Genealogy of NMD” that highlights three models that inspired the NMD_R1, and “Genetically Modified ’90s Tech” that sees two iconic footwear concepts, Feet You Wear and EQT, brought firmly into the future. These groups represent the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s, respectively.
