Inspired by the tradition of dyed eggs on Easter Sunday, adidas unveils their latest 2016 Easter Collection that features the D Lillard 2, D Rose 6 and player exclusives of the Crazylight Boost 2.5 for James Harden and Andrew Wiggins.
The Easter Collection includes the brand’s best performance silhouettes that are all dressed in the Easter theme of egg dye, expect for James Harden’s Crazylight Boost 2.5 PE, which takes a more fashionable approach to what we’d see Harden in before and after a game.
The D Lillard 2 ($105) and Andrew Wiggins Crazylight Boost 2.5 PE ($130) drop March 27th at adidas.com and select adidas Basketball retailers. No word on if the D Rose 6 or the James Harden edition of the adidas Crazy Light Boost 2.5 will release.
Andrew Wiggins Crazylight Boost 2.5 PE
Designed with white and gray Primeknit threads that deliver a gradient fade along the upper, Andrew Wiggins’ latest PE features a unique Easter egg graphic print treated with a gloss finish through the forefoot. Light gray accents are paired with pops of pink on the outsole, three stripes, laces and custom “AW” word mark.
D Lillard 2
The D Lillard 2 features a dyed Easter egg graphic print on the upper, while its mesh paneling, laces and Dame logos are designed in traditional pink pastel hues. To round out the Easter tribute, white details are contrasted by light blue accents on the TECHFIT bootie, outsole and midsole splatter pattern.
D Rose 6
The D Rose 6 features pastel blue tones with pink accents on the lace loop, tongue, webbing straps, heel tab and torsion bar. Designed with a marble dyed Easter egg print on the upper, the silhouette features an iced outsole, plush sockliner and clean white contrasts.
James Harden Crazylight Boost 2.5 PE
Harden’s latest player exclusive is dipped in shades of haze salmon and features a multi-layered upper with structural textures and soft, premium leather along the forefoot to deliver a lux finish. Light pink hits are featured on the laces and custom “13” wordmark while the model is also treated with a translucent outsole. Harden is set to debut the Easter colorway when the Rockets tip off against the Pacers on March 27.
