Following months of anticipation, adidas Basketball has officially previewed the adidas Anthony Edwards AE 2, the rising NBA star’s second signature sneaker. Set to continue the momentum of his debut AE 1, the AE 2 boasts an elevated design and updated performance features tailored for Edwards’ explosive playstyle.

The first leaked colorway, the “Acid Orange” edition, closely mirrors the color blocking of the “With Love” AE 1, which debuted in December 2023. The shoe features a bold orange woven upper, a black forefoot panel, and a golden cage structure that adds both style and support. Edwards’ adidas signature logo appears on the tongue, further cementing his growing legacy.

Although adidas has yet to release full tech specifications, the AE 2 is expected to improve upon its predecessor. Anticipate a lightweight build, responsive cushioning, and enhanced lockdown support for dynamic movements. The high-traction outsole will provide superior grip, ensuring peak performance on the court.

The adidas Anthony Edwards AE 2 “With Love” is expected to drop on October 4, 2025 at select adidas Basketball retailers and adidas.com. Available in family sizing, the retail price for adults is set at $130 USD.
