adidas Basketball is lining up a postseason-ready look for Anthony Edwards, revealing the adidas Anthony Edwards 2 “Lucid Blue”. The colorway continues the franchise’s blue-led identity, echoing the AE1’s Velocity Blue without repeating it outright.

This AE2 floods the silhouette in rich blue, covering the sculpted forefoot fangs, inner bootie, and herringbone outsole. Rather than Minnesota’s familiar green hits, adidas introduces Lucid Ray Blue for contrast. That lighter tone lands on Edwards’ apex logo, heel branding, and select outsole windows, sharpening depth.

While early looks may reflect a pre-production pair, the direction feels deliberate. The Anthony Edwards 2 favors refinement over overhaul, keeping the aggressive tooling while balancing saturation more carefully. Compared to the AE1, the lines read cleaner and more controlled, which suits high-stakes play.
