Spring colorways can go sideways fast. Too cute, too themed, too forced. This one doesn’t.
adidas keeps things restrained with the AE 2 “Easter,” using softer tones without losing the performance edge baked into Anthony Edwards’ second signature. It’s a shift in mood, not identity.
The color story does most of the talking. Butter yellow grounds the outsole and midsole tooling, while mint mesh and light lavender accents spread across the upper. The pastels feel deliberate, not loud. More seasonal nod than holiday costume.
Structurally, nothing changes—and that’s the point. The same sculpted shell returns, with breathable mesh handling airflow and smooth synthetic overlays keeping the shape tight. The blocking follows the shoe’s natural lines instead of fighting them, which helps the silhouette stay sharp even in lighter colors. Branding stays quiet and blended, letting the design breathe.
There’s a confidence here that suggests refinement. adidas isn’t chasing attention with this release. It’s showing comfort in the AE 2’s foundation and letting color do just enough work.
The adidas AE 2 “Easter” is expected to arrive Spring 2026, available through adidas.com and select retailers.
