Nigo’s connection to the Air Force 1 goes back more than 20 years, when his Bape Sta sneakers closely resembled Nike’s original design. These days, he’s working with Nike on the Air Force 1 Low ‘01, with several collaborations tied to people and brands he’s worked with over the years. Jun Takahashi and BTS rapper j-hope have already been part of the series, and now Nigo’s own Human Made label is getting a pair.
Sneaker Market Romania and @brandon1an shared early details of the Human Made x Nike Air Force 1 Low ‘01, along with mockups showing a possible design. Patent leather appears throughout the upper, similar to the colorful Air Force 1 releases from the early 2000s. The mockup shows a brown toe box with yellow overlays, green eyestays and heel panels, and dark brown covering the Swoosh and piping around the panels. Human Made’s red heart logo is stitched onto the outer side, with a white midsole and baby blue outsole underneath. Nike hasn’t confirmed the official colors, style code, or retail price.
