7-Eleven Drops Nike Air Max 95 Lawsuit

Published on

For those who’ve been hoping to cop the Nike Air Max 95 “7-Eleven,” a retail drop could be on the horizon. With 7-Eleven dropping their lawsuit against Nike we may see these hits retail. 7-Eleven filed the lawsuit back in July of 2026 claiming the shoe was too similar to their color scheme and release date.

A key demand from 7-Eleven was for Nike to halt the Air Max 95 release, as they felt its colors mimicked their brand too much. They also wanted to prevent Nike from releasing the shoe on July 11th which happens to be 7-Eleven day. They assumed people would believe that Nike was collaborating with them so they filed the lawsuit.

Court filings from October 19th revealed that 7-Eleven intends to drop the lawsuit with prejudice. This means that they cannot sue Nike on the same grounds. It was accepted on October 20th by the court. Both parties will pay their own attorney costs. There has not been any information on why they decided to drop the lawsuit or if they came to some sort of deal.

Many of these pairs have hit resale sites prior to them releasing in July. If you’re looking to snag a pair, they’re available on StockX, GOAT, and eBay. People were buying these at above retail prices even when 7-Eleven tried to halt the shoe from releasing.

We don’t know if 7-Eleven dropping the lawsuit had anything to do with people selling these shoes on resale. We also don’t know if Nike was infringing on their trademark because the court never got to that.

Nike has not stated a new release date for the Air Max 95 “7-Eleven” or if they plan on releasing them at retail. For anyone still hoping to cop these, your best bet is to check StockX, GOAT, or eBay.
