Anthony Edwards’ Halloween footwear goes beyond the basketball court this year, with an adidas Superstar joining the AE 3 “Omen.” Official adidas images show a black-and-white pair with blood-red material showing through cuts in the upper. It shares the dark look of his basketball shoe, but the slashed side panels give this version a different feel.

Those openings run through the black synthetic material, exposing pieces of the red foundation underneath. Rather than covering an entire panel in red, adidas keeps it behind the outer layer. White accents provide the other contrast, keeping much of the familiar Superstar color scheme intact.

The Anthony Edwards x adidas Superstar “Halloween” also brings back the modified shell toe seen on the “Cold Blooded” colorway. Gone are the ridges normally found across the front of a Superstar. In their place is smooth rubber with an AE logo, one of the more noticeable changes Edwards has made to the model.

Edwards has shown his interest in Halloween away from sneakers, too. In 2024, he dressed as Mr. Incredible, complete with inflatable muscles. Timberwolves general manager Tim Connelly went as Edwards that same year, wearing adidas AE sneakers with his costume.
