“Space Jam: Lunar Tunes” Returns on the Jordan Son of Mars Low

Published on

The Jordan Son of Mars Low is returning for the 30th anniversary of Space Jam, joining a larger Jordan Brand collection planned for Holiday 2026. This pair is called “Lunar Tunes,” a name pulled from the soundtrack section of the original Space Jam website, while the shoe itself uses colors inspired by the surface of the moon.

Different shades of grey cover most of the upper, with nubuck and suede used across the toe box, midfoot, and collar. Lilac purple suede breaks up the grey on the Air Jordan 3-inspired overlays around the toe and heel. Like other Son of Mars releases, the design brings together details from several classic Air Jordan models.

Spike Lee’s 40 Acres and a Mule logo appears on the lace cover, keeping one of the signature details from the Son of Mars line in place. The Space Jam 30th Anniversary branding is saved for the insoles, where the anniversary logo is paired with a Jumpman. More Jumpman logos appear on the Air Jordan 5-style tongue and Air Jordan 4-inspired heel tab.

A blue midsole based on the Air Jordan 4 adds another color to the lower half of the shoe. Glow-in-the-dark detailing continues from the midsole onto the outsole, tying back to the lunar theme used throughout the “Lunar Tunes” colorway.

The Jordan Son of Mars Low “Space Jam: Lunar Tunes” will release during November 2026 in full-family sizing. Retail is set at $165 for men’s sizes, $130 for grade school, $85 for preschool, and $60 for toddler sizing.
