Donovan Mitchell Is Staying With adidas Through the DON Issue 10

Donovan Mitchell is staying with adidas, with the two sides agreeing to a new contract extension that will keep his signature line going through the DON Issue #10.

Mitchell has been with adidas since entering the NBA in 2017, making the brand the only footwear company he has worked with during his pro career. The new deal confirms that the DON line will continue with at least the DON Issue #9 and DON Issue #10, putting Mitchell among a smaller group of players who have reached double-digit signature models with one brand.

Damian Lillard and James Harden have also reached that mark with adidas, while names like LeBron James, Allen Iverson, Klay Thompson, Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan have done the same with other companies.

Mitchell said the partnership has given him room to be himself and build the DON line around how he sees the game. He also pointed to the work being done away from the shoe itself, including the Spida Elite Camp and other programs aimed at helping younger players.

adidas will continue supporting the Spida Elite Camp as part of the extension. The brand will also remain involved with Greenwich Country Day School, where Mitchell attended elementary and middle school, along with the school’s NIL program.
