adidas is getting an early start on “Avengers: Doomsday” with a new Marvel collection tied to the movie. The first three pairs to surface are all Superstars, with Ant-Man, Shuri, and Doctor Doom each getting a design based on their look in the Marvel universe.

Ant-Man’s pair comes dressed mainly in red and black, with a hexagonal pattern running across the sides of the upper. The shapes change in size and shade, giving the red panels more texture without moving too far away from his familiar suit. Red patent leather covers the Three Stripes, finished with silver edges, while black takes care of the rest of the shoe. Ant-Man appears on the tongue, and the insoles read “Pick On Someone Your Own Size.”

Shuri gets a darker Superstar based around textured black leather and details pulled from her Black Panther suit. Gold trim around the heel is inspired by the vibranium necklace, with matching gold studs worked into the Three Stripes. Purple laces and outsoles break up the black upper, while Shuri-specific graphics and branding can be found on the tongue, insoles, and side of the shoe.

Doctor Doom’s Superstar leans into the armored look with black leather, grey metallic-style panels, and studded details across the Three Stripes and heel. Green covers the tongue and lining, with Doom’s mask stamped in silver on the tongue. “Doom Has No Rivals” appears on the insoles, and another metal piece beneath the tongue is modeled after his armor.

All three pairs come with special Marvel packaging tied to their respective characters. Adult and grade school sizes are expected, and the collection could grow beyond the three Superstars that have surfaced so far.

The Marvel x adidas “Avengers: Doomsday” collection is expected to release around the film’s December premiere.
