The Nike Air MAG is set to release to the public yet again, but this time around, the release is expected to be available as an non-eBay exclusive, and will debut power laces.
We all know everyone has been waiting for this release for awhile now, and with Nike bringing back the power lacing system – a futuristic feature that debuted on the original pair made for the classic 1988 film, Back To The Future Part II, the shoe has created a lot of buzz.

UPDATE: The 2015 Nike MAG is a limited edition release. It will only be available via auction, with all proceeds going to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. The specific details on the auctions will be posted to Nike News and via Twitter @Nike in Spring 2016.
UPDATE: Michael J. Fox has confirmed that the Nike MAG will debut this Spring 2016. Below is the first image of the self-lacing Nike Air MAG debuted by MJF himself.
UPDATE: In a letter from Tinker to Michael J. Fox, it stats the the 2015 Nike Air Mag will be auctioned for his foundation. Does this mean there won’t be an actual release? Stay tuned to for more updates.

UPDATE: Following this video, Nike Twitter recently tweeted actor Michael J. Fox, aka Marty McFly, about meeting tomorrow. That Tweet was later responded by Nike Public Relations Director Heidi Burgett, with a comment reading, “We’ll find out tomorrow if self-lacing shoes will be part of the future.”
So could we be seeing the Nike MAG 2015 debut tomorrow as expected? We’ll have to wait and see.
